A: All live sessions are hosted securely through our integrated virtual portal via Wise.live. Parents receive a dedicated login dashboard upon enrollment to view schedules, track attendance, and launch classes with a single click.

Lessons should be done using a larger screen- such as laptop/ desktop. We do not recommend a smartphone or tablet/iPad unless the learner needs assistance with touch screen controls rather than using a mouse or keyboard. 

Enroll your child in the program that matches their grade level. Upon registration form, note to the tutor your lesson expectations and notes about whether your child is just learning English, near or at grade level, or advanced for their age. The tutor will customize their sessions for the needs and learning goals. 

Upon booking a session, you will be directed to a dashboard where you can match availability with tutors and select the day/s you want for your lessons. 

Yes, you can view tutor profiles in your dashboard and select your tutor. Additionally, you can use the chat function in the dashboard for recommendations on a tutor that best suits your needs. 

A: We require a 24-hour notice via the student portal to cancel or reschedule a session. Missed sessions without 24-hour notice are logged as completed to secure our instructors' dedicated time. *View updated terms here: https://www.readbythree.org/privacy-terms

A: Approval in some states. Our Foundations (K-3) and RX3 Academy (4-12) programs are designed strictly around core academic standards. We provide fully itemized hourly billing receipts detailing the student name, date, time, and core subject to satisfy state compliance audits.

A: Approval in some states. Parents can search our official legal business name, Read by Three, LLC, inside their state's approved provider marketplace or submit our itemized hourly invoices for direct reimbursement. 

Yes! Under federal IRS tax guidelines, families nationwide can utilize their 529 College Savings Plans entirely tax-free to cover up to $20,000 annually per student for qualified K–12 academic tutoring, structured literacy intervention, and educational supports.

How it works:

1. Pay Directly: You select your student's tutoring program or individual session block and complete checkout securely using your credit or debit card through our integrated billing portal.

2. Receive Your Receipt: The platform automatically generates a fully itemized invoice receipt containing our corporate LLC details, EIN, student name, and specific timestamps of service.

3. Get Reimbursed Tax-Free: You simply submit our itemized receipt directly to your 529 plan dashboard to request a qualified, tax-free distribution sent to your bank account as a reimbursement.

Note: While federal IRS rules universally allow tax-free 529 withdrawals for professional K–12 tutoring, state-level tax treatment can vary. We always recommend confirming your specific state’s 529 plan guidelines regarding K–12 educational expense alignment.

A: Absolutely. Any primary adult caregiver who guides your child's home literacy learning is welcome. We recommend a limit of no more than two adults on screen per lesson to maintain an intimate learning dynamic.

A: No. By law, state ESA funding is strictly reserved for school-aged children (Kindergarten through Grade 12). The toddler track is a private-pay program processed securely via major credit cards or debit cards through Stripe.
